E V E N T S  &  R I D E S

Turn off that lame reality show and turn the fun meter up to 11!

The Metro Boomer Bash...Part Deux!
Date:  Stay Tuned
Time:  5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Where:  Metropolis Bikes

The date for this popular event will be announced soon!  We will be celebrating both our Pedego and Electra electric bike owners at this festive customer appreciation event. If you own a Pedego Bike (or are currently dreaming of owning one), we invite you to join us for this social gathering featuring a light wine and cheese spread and live entertainment from the French Cabaret ensemble Les Zazous, the international Bistro Jazz combo.  Meet fellow e-bike afficionados and enter our raffle for a chance to win fabulous prizes. Join us for this fun meet & greet and get plugged in! (This is not a sales event, just a social one!)

Great news, commuters!

Metrolink has added new, specially-designed Bike Cars capable of holding up to 18 bikes which allow bikers to easily board, store and then exit the trains with their bikes. The cars actually sound quite nice, with large bay windows, onboard restrooms, cushioned seating and drinking water. We applaud Metrolink for its efforts to support Southern California cyclists!

Join us for RIDELankershim!

Come out and join the many who have already signed up to support this very important cause!

Ride Lankershim is a Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition Valley Bike Ambassador campaign designed to educate and inform North Hollywood, Studio City, Toluca Lake, Valley Village and others about a proposed bike lane on Lankershim Boulevard and Cahuenga Boulevard.  This proposed project is part of the 2010 Bicycle Master Plan and is meant to connect to a larger network of bicycle paths, lanes, and routes for everyone to use.  This particular project may require the removal of a travel lane or a parking lane to accommodate for these enhancements.

The addition of bike lanes on Lankershim will accent the people-oriented district this community has become and will ultimately make the area a more vibrant and livable community.  Having bike lanes on Cahuenga will also address a gap in connectivity between the Valley and Hollywood communities.

We are constantly adding new information as this proposal progresses.

Please check regularly on the LACBC website for developments.

Our last group ride was a great success, hosted by Metropolis Bikes.

Thanks to all who participated!

A massive ride on the Hollywood side on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, and now the last Saturday of the month. Don't let zip code hold you back - the Valley contingent 'Cruzz with Us' has just emerged. No matter what side of the hill you call home, come out and ride!
